Our story

Hartwell Medical Centre is the newest addition to the Whitehorse Medical Centre group, which was established in 1982 with the purpose of providing the highest quality care, and supporting the health and wellbeing for the local community in Mitcham, Victoria.

One of our principal doctors, grew up in the Hartwell area, and after seeing the lack of access to high quality primary General Practice care in the region, has returned to roots to set up this new purpose built medical centre dedicated to servicing the community surrounding Hartwell.
